How do credits work?
A credit is a unit of AI work. When Swarmz builds or changes your app, it uses credits based on the work it actually does. Most edits cost less than half a credit, and building a new app usually takes about one credit. Bigger jobs cost more, and you can see what every prompt cost right in the chat.
What are daily, monthly, rollover and top-up credits?
Daily credits are 5 free credits you get every day on every plan (up to 30 a month on Free and 150 on paid plans); they reset at midnight UTC. Monthly credits are your plan's allowance, refilled each billing month. Unused monthly credits roll over for 30 days, up to one month's allowance. Top-ups are extra credits you buy on a paid plan, valid for 12 months. Swarmz spends daily credits first, then rollover, monthly, any bonus credits, and top-ups last.
What's the difference between Pro and Business?
Credits work the same way on both, and the credit tiers are identical. Business costs twice as much at every tier and adds controls for teams: private apps for your workspace or invited guests, SAML single sign-on, user groups, custom design systems and a branded workspace URL.
What is Swarmz Cloud, and what does it cost?
Swarmz Cloud is the backend for the apps you build: a database, user sign-in, file storage and server functions, set up for you by Swarmz. Every plan, Free included, comes with 20 Cloud credits and 4 AI credits each month for your apps' backends and any AI features inside them. Beyond that, usage is paid from your credit balance as it happens. If your balance runs out, Cloud backends pause until you add credits.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes, at any time from your billing settings. Upgrades are instant: you pay the difference in monthly price today, get the extra credits straight away, and your renewal date stays the same. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then move to Free.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
There's no trial, because Free doesn't expire: you get 5 credits every day, unlimited projects and one-click publishing, with no card required. Upgrade whenever you need more.
Do I pay per seat?
No. Plans are priced per workspace, not per person. Teammates you invite build from the workspace's shared credits, and you can set a credit limit for each member.
How do payments and tax work?
Checkout runs on Stripe, and you can pay by card, Apple Pay or Link. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax; sales tax or VAT is worked out at checkout, where businesses can also add a VAT number. Have a promo code? Enter it at checkout. Receipts and invoices live in your billing settings.
Do you offer refunds?
Purchases are generally final, but billing errors — duplicate, unauthorised or post-cancellation charges — are always refunded when reported within 30 days. In the UK and EU you can also cancel a new subscription within 14 days for a refund of the unused part, and untouched top-up packs can be refunded within 14 days. The refund policy has the full details.
Is my work private?
Yes. On every plan, your projects can only be opened by members of your workspace. Apps you publish are public by default; on Business you can publish privately, to your workspace or to people you invite.
