Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies we use on swarmz.net, what they do, and how to change your choices.

01What cookies are

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Swarmz Labs Ltd (company number 17217227), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, UK ("Swarmz", "we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar storage on swarmz.net and inside the Swarmz application.

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser so it can recognise you on later visits. Similar technologies, like localStorage and sessionStorage, let a site keep small amounts of data in your browser without using a cookie. This policy covers both.

02How we use cookies

We group the cookies and storage we use into three categories.

Strictly necessary. These keep you signed in, keep your sessions secure, and let the service work at all. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR Regulation 6(4)) we do not need your consent for these, because they are necessary to deliver a service you have explicitly asked for.

Functional and preferences. Inside the signed-in app we save small bits of UI state, like whether your sidebar is collapsed or which workspace you used last. We treat these as strictly necessary too, because you have signed in for the service they support.

Analytics. Anonymous product analytics and error monitoring. These are off by default. They run only after you give consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

03Types of cookies we use

The table below describes the cookies and similar storage you may encounter on swarmz.net and inside the app, grouped by what they do. We describe each group by purpose rather than by its technical cookie identifier; that's enough for an informed consent decision, and a precise cookie inventory (names, scopes, flags) is available to enterprise customers' auditors and DPAs on request via privacy@swarmz.net.

04Third-party cookies

Some content embedded on Swarmz pages can set its own cookies. The main examples are the Stripe Checkout flow, embedded videos, embedded code or design sandboxes, and embedded social posts. The third party that owns the embed sets those cookies under its own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control them.

We try to keep our marketing pages free of third-party embeds and their cookies wherever we can. When you load a page that includes an embed, the embed loads under the rules of the provider running it.

05Managing your preferences

You can change your cookie choices at any time. The footer of every page on swarmz.net has a cookie settings link that re-opens the consent banner so you can change your decision.

Your browser also gives you controls. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing this may sign you out of the service and reset your preferences, including the consent choice you saved with us.

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends GPC, our analytics worker treats that as a rejection of non-essential cookies and analytics will not load, even before you interact with the banner.

Major browsers have their own opt-out controls. The guides at Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge cover the basics for each.

06Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as we add or change features. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when we last changed it.

If we make a material change to how we use cookies or similar storage, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and through an in-app notice before the new version takes effect.
